Crazy Costumes and Next Week

Hey everyone!  I hope you enjoyed the costume contest and have a great Halloween!  Dressing up like Willie Nelson was pretty fun, except for the wig.  I hope over the past 3 weeks you have gotten a glimpse of God’s character–that He is great and good and always has been.  He wants to be those things in our lives and thanks to Jesus, we have access to this great and good God.

Next week, we will be starting a new series.  It will be called, “The Nuts and Bolts.” We will discuss ways we can put into practice some of the things we know to be true about Jesus, how we can follow Him and strengthen our connection with Him in our lives.  Several people have mentioned to me that they find it hard to live out some of the things we talk about on Wednesday nights, so my goal is that through this series we will have a chance to talk about that.
